Mr Ganga Singh

Principal

Mr Ganga Singh brings over 40 years of teaching experience, including 20 years in Australian mainstream schools. A former School Principal and Head of Department, he has taught Hindi and Harmonium at WSHS for over 17 years and is highly respected for his leadership, teaching excellence, and musical expertise.

Mr Ashok Jaiswal

Coordinator

Mr Ashok Jaiswal is an experienced HR and training professional who has led Human Resources and Official Languages (Hindi) departments and trained professionals across various organizations. A Commerce graduate, Law degree holder, and author, he brings valuable expertise in leadership and education.

Dr Nupur Jaiswal

Hindi Teacher

Dr Nupur Jaiswal holds a Doctorate in Hindi and has been working in the field of education and content development since 2008. A published author and active contributor to literary forums and publications, she is passionate about Hindi language, literature, and the arts.

Ms Subadra Chandra

Hindi Teacher

Ms Subadra Chandra is a qualified educator with 33 years of teaching experience in Fiji and expertise in Hindi, Education, and Educational Administration. Passionate about Hindi language, culture, and arts, she joined WSHS as a Hindi teacher in 2024.

Ms Jyoti Dhanda

Hindi Teacher

Accomplished educator with 14 years of experience in international education, specialising in Hindi language instruction and department leadership. Proven track record in curriculum development, student mentorship and cross – cultural educational initiatives. Skilled in adapting teaching methodologies to diverse student backgrounds.

Mrs Lalita Devi

Hindi Teacher

Mrs Lalita Devi is a highly experienced Hindi educator with over 22 years of teaching experience across primary and secondary schools in India. Holding advanced qualifications in Hindi and Education, she is dedicated to developing students’ language skills and promoting Hindi language, literature, and cultural values.

Ms Kala Nanthakopan

Bharatanatyam Teacher

Ms Kala Nanthakopan is a highly experienced Bharatanatyam teacher with over 30 years of teaching experience and a Diploma in Bharatanatyam. Teaching in Australia since 1998 and at WSHS for over 15 years, she is passionate about inspiring the next generation of dancers.

Ms Priya Das

Vocal Teacher

Ms Priya Das is a trained classical vocalist with international performance experience and over 10 years of vocal teaching expertise. Trained at Gandharva Sangeet Vidyalaya, Pune, she joined WSHS as a Vocal Teacher in 2024.

Mr Jai Shukla

Tabla and Dholak Teacher

Mr Jai Shukla is an experienced Tabla and Dholak artist with over 20 years of performance experience, trained under Guru Arnab Mukerjee. He has performed internationally, including alongside renowned Bollywood and devotional artists, and is highly skilled in tabla, dholak, ghazals, bhajans, and devotional music.

Mr Nitish Navitesh Prakash

Harmonium Teacher

Mr Nitish Navitesh Prakash is an educator with experience teaching Science, Physics, and Biology, and a strong passion for harmonium and singing. A music enthusiast who enjoys all genres of music, he brings both educational and musical interests to his teaching.

Mr Sanju Reddy

Harmonium Teacher

Mr Sanju Reddy is a dedicated Harmonium instructor committed to helping students develop musical skills, rhythm, and confidence through structured learning. He encourages students to build a strong foundation in harmonium while fostering an appreciation for Indian music and performance.

Ms Amrita Sah

Ms Amrita Sah

Hindi Teacher

Distinction holder in Hindi at HSC level. Taken Basic Hindi Language classes for Primary School students at Homebush Sydney.
A Post Graduate in Analytical Chemistry, she has also won awards for Dance and has Excellent Performance Certificate in Drawing and Painting also.
